VID_xxxx & PID_xxxx, please write down the 4 letters or numbers for VID and PID. there will be a line information displayed. Step4: Right click on the device and then select "properties", then select " detail". Step3: Go to Device Manager, find the driver for the cable - it may appear as "Other device", "Ross-Tech Hex or KEY USB" If a pop up comes up asking you to install a driver just close the pop up.
Step2: Plug your disabled cable to the USB. Then follow the instructions to repair your cable as follows: Mprog2.8a (you'll need to install this on your PC if you haven’t already and then to make life easier later copy the following file to C:\program files\mprog2.8a\templates)
